You would think that I would be going in on how horrible my husband is and how he is ruining our marriage. I just can't do that because it's not the truth about our marriage. Sure, we have some things that we both need to work on but they are not the straw that broke the camels back.
Our marriage and life is at a standstill right now. Our major concern like a lot of people are the finances in the marriage. We both are trying our best to bring an income into the partnership that we have made. It just seems like life or the universe are throwing up road blocks after road blocks.
For now the people that are putting stress back into our marriage are the people that work at the Unemployment Department of California. We received an overpayment and had unemployment checks held for seven weeks. Boy did that put a damper on our marriage. We were told that the checks being held would pay for the overpayment.
It seems now that the information that was given to my husband and I was wrong. So now the money that I was going to put in our donation envelope has to be used to pay the late fee for our rent. Of course neither of us is happy about this because in our marriage we want to help as many people as possible.
What can a married couple do though? We have been fighting tooth and nail with the Unemployment Department, it's something that is completely out of our control. We just have to make sure that neither of us stresses out too much in our marriage and go on our merry way.
Hopefully that's exactly what we can do in our marriage.

Now is the time to start losing weight
We here this over and over again on The Biggest Loser, well you’ll hear it if you are a fan of the show. In the beginning Bob and Jill both say that the time to get healthy and lose weight is now. One day is made up of almost 90,000 seconds and each of them can be a moment to start on the journey of getting healthy and losing weight.
Lately I have been very lacking on my health and weight loss. It is really easy to do with writing 40 hours a week and doing all the things that a girl has to do in the household. Helen, who is 2009 NBC Biggest Loser, inspires me. If she can get healthy and lose 110 pounds then anyone can.
So I hope that you will follow my Biggest Loser journey of getting my health back and losing 257 pounds. I may not be on a fancy NBC show but I am going to gain my health back and take anyone I can with me.
Of course I will be using The Biggest Loser information, the NBC television show, and all I can as inspiration to keep going. It’s my goal to make every second count because life is too much of a treasure to sit around and do nothing.
Are you going to join me?

A suprise from my second life
It's been a while since I have been on Second Life. My first life with work, school, and a husband has kept me pretty busy. Not something that I am happy about because I do want to open my own business in the virtual world of Second Life.
I did get a surpise the other day when attending one of their NCI classes on business in Second Life. I'm currently attending all the classes that I can in this virtual world so that the businesses that I do open in Second Life will help the non-profit that my family wants to open.
I found out that the class I was taking was using my articles on Second Life as reference articles. I had written these articles for Associated Content several years ago to earn money online. Plus the fact that I was in love with all the world I could find in Second Life.
It's just nice to have a persons work recognized and referenced. Especially if it is being used by new people who want to open a business in Second Life.

Don’t fear struggle in a relationship
Don’t fear struggle in a relationship. Rita Levi Montalcini once said, “"Above all, don't fear difficult moments," she said. "The best comes from them." I have to agree with this Nobel Prize winner who just turned 100.
Relationships are all about balances between two people. There will always be struggles in a relationship and even though we think we can prevent them, we can’t. It’s better to learn to deal with these relationship struggles head one instead of hoping that they will not happen or go away.
Struggles in a relationship can be a benefit. How? Struggles bring people together if the couple works together as a team. Struggles in a relationship can be an opportunity for each person to grow emotionally and physically.
Struggles in a relationship can also be a warning signal. I always tell people not to rush into marriage and honestly believe that a year of being engaged is really not long enough. Why? When people rush into a marriage they are unable to experience a real struggle in their lives together.
When couples aren’t allowed to work together on problems, they may be surprised at the reaction of the other person in the relationship. In the worst scenario one person in the relationship will find that the other person complete shuts down and really doesn’t want to work on making the relationship better. They then have to decide if they want to stay in the relationship or if they need someone who believes that a relationship is a team.
So instead of fearing struggle in a relationship, I would suggest to welcome it with a different mind frame. Welcome it as a way to build your relationship and not as situations that will add more stress.

Some people just don't listen to small business
My husband and I are taking baby steps on our journey of opening a small business franchise. We want everything about this small business to be perfect. Unfortunately some people just don't want to listen to small business owners.
We had a chance to obtain financial help from an organization. The only draw back is that to get this financial help we would need a notarized document uploaded to the organizations database. My husband and I had no problem with this since we have a history in small business and find people who have notary licenses all the time.
The person on the other side of the table unfortunately was clueless about what needed to be on the small business document. I'm really surprise that she manages several building complexes because her actions tell me otherwise.
She ended up putting comments on the paperwork that is going to lengthen the time it will take for our small business to get the financial help that it needs.
So my small business tip for you today is to double check your documents and paperwork. Do not trust the other person involved to do the right thing. If they have added something to the document ask them to redo it.
This will save your small business more time and energy than if you were to scramble around and try to fix their mistake.

Blog Explosion social networking reignites
I was worried for a moment. I thought that Blog Explosion was going to be another blog networking and social networking site to go belly up. I'm a major supporter of Blog Explosion and have had a great success using it to for my blog marketing.
The people that own Blog Explosion have allowed a volunteer Administrator to take charge of the site and forum. The social network site is going to take some time to clean up but I have a feeling that it will return to a thriving place for blogs.
Just like any other blog marketing and social network a person is going to get out what they put into the site. BlogExplosion seriously need some dedicated volunteers to process new applicants, check TOS violations, and do a major clean up where it is needed.
I know that I'm grateful to have low cost place for blog marketing and social networking. The collection of blogs is amazing and I have met some great people and read some great stories during my time on the site.
It is my hope that Blogexplosion returns to the thriving community of people and blog marketing fiends that it once was. Where bloggers experienced hundreds of visitors a day and educated their minds about the world.

The Birthday Cards come flying in
Soon I will have a day off from Blog marketing and our small business franchise adventure. I really have to find MJ something to do until he has full-time work. It just seems that I'm doing all the work for the small business to come into fruitation.
I regressed though. My 37th birthday will be here and the cards are flying in. I just got this E-card from my Aunt and Uncle. I thought they had forgotten about me because no one congratulated us on our first year wedding anniversary. Boy was I wrong.
So what do you think of the card? I know that Birthdays for the next five years are going to be small. We have to save that money for our small business franchise. That's ok! I think MJ and I will save up for an off season trip in March.
That's also ok because we both are excited about this franchise. We both look forward to the day when we both have a place to go to work and we will never have to fill out a resume again.
